Family Pictures To Come

Ben, Travis, and I got our family pictures taken today. It was the most stressful time I've had since finals. I have decided that these two boys are going make me pull my hair out fighting for a good family picture. It all started this morning when Ben wanted to wear his glasses. Call me a freak if you want to, but I wouldn't let him wear them and he got mad at me because he couldn't see. I didn't want him to wear his glasses for the pictures though so I wouldn't even let him wear them this morning because I didn't want him to get red rings around his nose for the pictures. Then Travis was being such a good happy smily and giggly boy this morning I was so excited, but by the time pictures came around he went to sleep and wouldn't wake up, then when he did wake up he cried through the pictures. I tell you these two boys drive me crazy, but we do have family pictures are to come. We will have to see how they turn out. In the mean time here are a couple random photos I got off the camera.

Travis and I were waiting for Ben to come home from work and didn't quite make it.

Travis in his bouncy chair.

Ben waiting for the sheets to get out of the drier.

We stopped at Kurt's to swing when we went on our evening walk.

The Face Every Parent Fears

So much for that outfit.

Grandpa Johnson

Ben and I were fortunate enough to catch this on video so we wanted to share it with all the Grandpa Johnson fans.

Utah Trip

After graduation Ben and I took the girls to Utah to go on a short trip to thank them for helping us this summer. Angie was not able to come with us because she had drivers-ed so we missed her, but we had a good time. We went and saw Nikki's new baby girl, we went to the Hogle Zoo, and to the mall, and we took Travis to see his Great Grandpa Johnson while we were in Utah.

We finally found a hat that was small enough to fit Tavis's head so we had to buy it.

We were walking through the Madagascar exhibit.

They had a great bird show that we took Travis to, but he wasn't as amused as Ben and I was. He slept through it.

Here was a Bald Eagle they had at the show, it was a huge bird in real life.

Here is Ashley, Chelsie, and the top of Travis's head at one of the exhibits.

We took this picture just for you Cali.

Ashley, Chelsie, and I saw this piercing on the back of this womans neck. We had to follow her all over the zoo just to get a picture of it because it dumbfounded us why anyone would put a piercing there. I think Ben was a little embarrassed by us, but we got the picture and we didn't get caught.

When we went shopping we took Travis to Build A Bear and we built Travis a bunny. Chelsie named him Gavin (that is what she wanted us to name Travis).

Travis and Gavin

This was a great picture, but Travis wished his Grandma Cook could have been there to complete it.

Graduation

It has been the longest eleven months of my life, but I finally did it!! I graduated from that wretched nursing program that has sucked the life out of me for the past year. To take full credit would be selfish though. I did it with the help of a mom who encouraged me since I was a little girl and never stopped believing in me. I also did it with the help of a husband who supported me and increased his work load so that I could decrease mine and focus on the program. I did it with the help of a little baby boy who was with me through the program since day one and helped me remember why I was there every time I wanted to give up and quit. I did it with the love and support and prayers of a great family on both my side and Ben's.

Unfortunately this was the only picture that really turned out through the ceremony. I was waiting to be pinned by my mom.

Me with my two most favorite boys.

We were glad that Rulan and Kathy could make it.

Thanks for dinner!

Don't ask, because I don't know.

Congratulations from Ben!!

4th of July

Ben, Travis, and I went to Freeman Park for the 4th of July weekend. Ben was scheduled to work the fourth so he left for work at 1:00, but came back later because they ended up not needing him so it was a nice surprise. We got to spend time with family and Travis got to meet some more of his cousins.

My brother-in-law, Chad, played with his band.

Mom had a great time dancing with Benji.

Even the tickle monster joined them.

Travis took a nap with his cousin Brielle who was born one hour after he was.

This is Travis's cousin Jack.

Angie with Brielle.

Here is Travis's cousin Luke, he was the little cookie monster.

Poor Joey got sick.

Travis had such a great time at the Park with his family and cousins he just couldn't stop smiling after he went home.

This wasn't on the 4th, I just threw it in here. This is Paityn Craythorn, Travis's girlfriend. She was born two days after him.

More Pictures of Our Little Guy

Our favorite pass time.

He's getting chunky.

Morning madness.

Travis went to visit his Great Grandpa Hymus. We think they both enoyed the visit.

Father's Day Weekend

This is Ben and my hero! She has helped us through the past six weeks with Travis. Without her Ben and I would be in big big trouble.

Ben played Jenga with Chelsie and my cousins over Father's Day weekend. It was girls vs. boys.

Shelby and Micayla.

Travis loves to be held so when we have to get things done we put him in this pillow so he thinks he is being held. We call it 'The Magic Pillow'. Thanks Dez, Linsey, and Nikki!!

Travis was mortified when we tried to expose his naked body to the world.
