Two Years And A Baby Later

This weekend Ben and I celbrated our second anniversery. We didn't have much money to work with this year because we are saving up for a trip to California in the fall so we spent the weekend with our family.

Saturday we went to Bear Lake with my dad and sisters and one of my brothers. It was freezing cold weather, but the water was warm so it turned out pretty good. Needless to say I was a lot better in the boat taking pictures than I was being dragged around on the tube. Boating just isn't the same after having a baby. It hurts a lot more. I fell off the tube twice. I fell off with my sister Chelsie because my dad dragged the boat too slow so the front end of our tube started going down in the water and I am the heavier of the two of us so I was the one who took the fall and got sucked under. The second time I was riding with Ben and I was tired and in pain and had enough, but nobody listens in the boat so I let go so they would stop and let me back in the boat. Ben wanted to ride with Kurt to see who could last the longest on the tube to see if he could beat Kurt, but they both got flipped at the same time. After the lake we went and got raspberry milk shakes and pizza. It was a pretty fun day trip. After the day was over Ben and I packed our bags to go home for the weekend, but when we were out the door we saw our new neighbor (my brother Kyle) moving his 700 lbs safe into his house and asked Ben to help. We didn't get to Rigby until late that night.
Sunday we spent the day with Ben's family. Grandma and Grandpa Cook got to play with Travis and they made a great Sunday dinner and of course we played some card games. It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. Sunday night we went and saw Vardus and Shirley (Doug's parents). We ate our second dinner and Vardus and Shirley gave us a stroller for Travis that one of thier grandchildren left at their house. So we are excited to use it. We can finally go on walks and not have to take turns holding our chunky little baby. We spent the night at my parents and I will tell you that you can't trust a man with a baby. I gave Travis to Doug while Ben and I unpacked the car and set up camp. When I went to find Travis he was going on his first 4-wheeler ride with Grandpa Doug and he was wearing a do-rag.
Monday we spent some of the day at my parents. My mom had to work so she didn't get much time to spend with Travis before work so we took him to her work so she could show him off and so we could eat some onion rings. Then we dropped Travis off with Chelsie and Angie so Ben and I could go and eat. After that we went to the drive inn. Ben watched G.I. Joe and Transformers while I slept. What a romantic anniversery! We had a lot of fun this weekend though and we got to see almost everybody.
Here are some pictures from our weekend. Our camera battery died when we got to Rigby so the only pictures I got were from my sisters, but here is what we have.

Friday night Travis got tired pretty early. I think he was saving up for his fun weekend with the family.

Travis was not happy with me on Saturday because he wanted to ride in the boat with the big kids, but mom made him wait on the shore.

Oh yeah, that bump hurt. Lucky I had Chelsie with me to make sure I survived.
