Happy Birthday Ben!

Here is the birthday boy!

The Difference Between Cats and Dogs!

Ben and I went on a trip to Utah over the weekend. We drove down with Rulan, Kathy, Becky, and Josh. We were able to spend time with the Johnson family. But before we left on our trip Ben was very insistant on bringing the camera. He wanted to take lots of pictures so that we could update our blog.

Here are the pictures I took:

Ben with Grandpa Johnson (Like Grandpa; Like Grandson)

Ben on the high jump.

Ben made everybody his french fries for dinner.

Becky, Rulan, and Ben

Rulan with his cheesy grin.

Now here is the picture (notice I say picture) Ben took:

The Suprise Visit

Well, the campus missionaries now have something to write home about, we had Ashley and Kyle over at our place on Friday and we were all having fun when there was a knock at the door, I answer it and there were two missionaries just sitting there at the door, I said hi and they said hi and then there was just silence. I invited the missionaries in and they came in and didn't say a word. We introduced them to everybody and then there was just more silence. Soon they asked us if we were members and we said yes and they gave Kyle and I some interesting looks, asked for a referral and then just left. Kind of odd, and then we realized that I was wearing a shirt with a marijana leaf on it that I got while I was in D.C. (it says to stay off the grass okay) And Kyle was wearing his shirt for work which had the lazy lizard on it where Kyle is a bouncer (its a pretty popular bar, he' s just a bouncer though). So we are hoping that we will see the elders in church sometime and properly introduce ourselves.

Rulan Jr.

Ben went fishing with Barry. He didn't get a bite, but he sure had fun. He was so excited to go fishing that he couldn't sleep last night. He was up until 2:30 this morning. It was like Christmas for him.
